Who Is Jesus Christ – Lunatic, Liar, or Son of God?
If you live in America it’s likely you’ve heard of Jesus. But who is he? And how much do you know about the radical claims he made? Specifically,
- He claimed that there is a God who created all that we see and all that we don’t see. This world and everything in it. This universe and everything in it. Everything.
- He claimed he was the son of that God.
- He claimed that when your physical body dies on this Earth that it’s not the end but that you keep on living forever, for all eternity.
- He claimed that you spend that life after Earth in one of two places: either with God in perfect peace, joy, and completion or away from God in incomprehensible misery, pain, and torment.
- He claimed that he was the only path to experiencing that eternal life, that forever life, with God after your physical body dies on Earth. And in order to experience that forever life with God, he said you must choose to accept and believe his claim that he is the only path back to God.
So, Jesus is either a delusional lunatic, a liar, or he’s exactly who he said he is. There’s no room for an in between. He’s not, as many would say, a great teacher or a good man. If he’s a delusional lunatic or a liar, then we ignore him and move on. But if he’s exactly who he said he is, we would be wise to understand exactly what he was saying.
The question is, “Who do you say that he is?”
In this book, Tim Cooke invites you join him in a simple, straight-forward, thought provoking discussion to help you answer that question for yourself.
Are you willing to take an hour or less to consider who Jesus Christ really is?
